Consultation Model

ABA Kids offer’s consultation models for parents/caregivers and schooling institutions.

Parent Support: Parents wishing to take a lead role in their child’s therapy are offered practical, ongoing support and training to address their child’s needs. Sessions are individualised and focused on key areas for improvement.

School Support: School consultations are available to all schooling institutions, from day care up to primary school. We work collaboratively with teaching staff, to ensure best outcomes across various settings and activities throughout the school day. We offer support and advice on how to best adapt teaching styles to meet the individual needs of the client, guiding and promoting inclusive practice for all students.

Common school services might include but are not limited to, consulting at SSG meetings, assisting with IEP development, conducting Functional Behavioural Assessments (FBA) of problem behaviour, writing and training school staff to follow Behaviour Intervention Plan’s (BIP), classroom support, shadowing, playground support and staff PD’s.

Full-Time & Part-Time Models

Full and part-time service models are available for those seeking intensive early intervention. Intervention packages begin with a comprehensive developmental assessment to pinpoint strengths and skill deficits across various skill domains. From there, a comprehensive program is developed.

ABA Kids provides our own fully trained Behaviour Therapists and Senior Behaviour Therapists who will travel to a location of your choice. Our therapists come with a wealth of knowledge and will have your child loving learning in no time!!

If you have a private therapist and/or family members who would like to provide therapy, we welcome them to the team and we will train them to the same quality standard as our own. We encourage family involvement where ever possible.

Full-Time Model: Includes 25 hours per week of 1:1 early intervention at a location of your choice.

Part-Time Model: Includes 15 hours per week of 1:1 early intervention at a location of your choice.

Social Skills & School Readiness Groups

We are excited to announce the introduction of our new Social Skills and School Readiness Groups. Sessions will commence January, 2024 and will run during school terms. We are now taking expressions of interest. Please contact us for more information.

BCBA/cBA & RBT Supervision

ABA Kids offers both face-to-face and remote supervision for people interested in pursuing their BCBA/CBA or Registered Behaviour Technician (RBT) certification. Families and therapists are encouraged to participate also.

Autism Partnership is currently offering the 40-hour RBT online training program necessary to sit the board exam. Training is completely online and available to you from the comfort of own home!

Speech Pathology & Occupational Therapy

ABA Kids, we encourage a multidisciplinary team approach where possible.

We work collaboratively in building an intervention program which incorporate goals from all three disciplines, ensuring that all targeted skills receive the same level of intensity and repetition as they would with an ABA program alone.

Remember, ABA is a collection of teaching tactics which can be applied to teach and/or increase any socially meaningful behaviour!! We believe that a collaborative approach to treatment leads to greater individual outcomes overall.
