Meet the ABA Kids Melbourne Team

Rosy Romanella, M.Ed., BCBA., CBA

Clinical Director

Rosy holds a Bachelor of Psychological Science from Australian Catholic University and a Masters of Education in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) from Monash University.

Rosy also completed coursework in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) through Florida Institute of Technology’s online program, gaining international certification as a Board Certified Assistant Behaviour Analyst (BCaBA) in 2014 and then a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) in 2020.

Rosy has been working in the field of ABA for 20 years. Over this time, Rosy worked across various locations throughout Melbourne, designing and implementing early intensive ABA programs for children up to 14 years of age.

Rosy has a passion for evidence based practice and collaborative approaches, ensuring the greatest measurable outcomes for all that she serves.

In her own time, Rosy enjoys dancing, stand up paddle boarding, playing with her pets and traveling to remote locations.

Winnie Fung

, RBT

Centre Manager

Winnie has been employed by ABA Kids for 4 years now. Prior to this, Winnie worked in a variety of early childhood education and development programs, such as seasonal kindergarten, long daycare, primary schools and out of school activities.

Winnie currently holds Registered Behaviour Technician (RBT) certification and is studying her BCBA at Griffith University.

Winnie is passionate and dedicated to the science of ABA and is proud to be part of the ABA Kids team. She believes that every child is unique and that teaching strategies should always represent individual needs.

When Winnie is not working, she loves spending time with her family going on road trips around Australia. She loves music, arts, traveling to different countries and exploring the world.

Ashley Owen

, CBA

Program Supervisor

Ashley has completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (psychology) and in 2014 graduated with first class honours in psychology. Ashley is now currently studying her Masters in Applied Behaviour Analysis at Monash University and hopes to one day become a BCBA. Ashley currently holds a CBA credential.

Ashley has over eight years of experience working as an ABA therapist. Over this time, she worked one-on-one with children in their homes as well at schools and kindergartens. Ashley has worked with a range of children across Melbourne, aged between 2 and 10 years of age.

The best thing about going to work, for Ashley, is getting to see how proud her clients are when they successfully learn a new skill.

In her spare time, Ashley loves reading, taking her dog to the beach and traveling.

Vicky Arklie

Senior Behaviour Therapist

Victoria is currently studying a Masters of Clinical Psychology at Deakin University and hopes one day to become a child Psychologist.

When not working at ABA kids, Victoria works as an experienced Yoga teacher, delivering movement and mindfulness practices to diverse groups of young people and adults in a variety of settings including schools, community centers and studios. Victoria has loved the opportunity to combine these skills for regulation into her work as a Senior Behaviour Therapist.

In her spare time Vicky enjoys arts and crafts, swimming and hiking.

Kaysie Gabsch

Senior Behaviour Therapist

Kaysie holds a Bachelor of Psychological Science from Deakin University and has been employed by ABA Kids since early 2021, in the role of Senior Behaviour Therapist.

Kaysie is a passionate advocate for inclusion and ensuring that from a young age, children have all they need to reach their full potential. Kaysie incorporates a positive, creative and fun approach to her work and loves watching children learn through play, art and fun. 

In her spare time Kaysie loves spending time with her puppy Lilo, going for long walks and baking. 

Jamie O’Hare

Senior Behaviour Therapist

Jamie has completed a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) and is currently completing her Masters of Counselling.

Jamie is dedicated to providing a learning environment that is safe, positive and supportive of all children and families. With experience working in a wide range of environments, including state league netball programs, Jamie is able to bring various elements of knowledge to her therapy.

Away from ABA Kids, Jamie is a passionate yoga teacher and netball player, who loves sport, health, wellness and nature.

Hannah

He, RBT

Senior Behaviour Therapist

Hannah has been working as an ABA therapist for the past three years. She holds a Masters of Teaching in Early Childhood Education and she is currently studying her Masters in Applied Behaviour Analysis at Monash University. Hannah hopes to one day become a BCBA/CBA.

Hannah advocates for vulnerable children and she is proud to be a part of a team that shares the same mission. She is passionate and compassionate. She loves making the little ones smile just as she loves seeing them achieve.

Outside of her work and study, Hannah likes to spend time with her cat, go on road trips and have a movie nights.

Vince Wilson

Senior Behaviour Therapist

Vince holds a Bachelor of Arts and Honours in Psychology from Monash University and hopes to complete his Masters in 2024.

Vince is passionate about ABA therapy and how it effectively supports development.

Vince is a caring and empathetic therapist, committed to fostering warm and open relationships with children and their families.

In his spare time, Vince loves reading, exercising, playing sport and getting into nature.

Tia Conquer

Administration

Tia is currently studying Occupational Therapy at Australia Catholic University. She is excited to be apart of the team at ABA kids and looks forward to combining her skills and experience from both settings.

Tia has a natural affinity for young children and has known for many years that her passion and career lies in early intervention. Tia believes every child has the ability to succeed if given the right guidance and support. Establishing ongoing relationships with children and their families, and being apart of their learning journey, is the highlight of her working day.

Outside of work, Tia loves finding new places to go for walks and recently found a new passion for indoor plants.

Lea Romanella

Finance Manager

Lea has a Bachelor in Commerce and an Associated Diploma in Business Studies from Montreal, Canada.

Lea has been employed by ABA Kids since January 2019, since the very beginning. Lea's main duties include payroll, accounting, reporting and overseeing business operations. Lea has over 30 years experience in providing professional services across a broad range of financial areas.

In her spare time, Lea enjoys traveling, spending time at the beach, supporting orphaned children in India, volunteering at The Royal Children’s Hospital, dancing, music and the arts.
